Game Fair, LTD out in Bell Meade area. Not cheap and upscale. Franklin Gun Shop just off I-65 (20 minutes from downtown Nashville). Haven't been in there in a while but used to have a lot of guns. Again, in the highest per capita income county in the state of Tennessee and near the Nissan North America headquarters. Few bargains. Specialty Arms II out off of I-24 in LaVergne, TN (about 20 minutes out of downtown. Your average gun shop. Don't know about the other shops in town. Moved out of Nashville about 4 years ago. Don't let anyone send you to Gun City USA. Poor inventory and sometimes a lot of attitude.

DoubleAuto, I bought a Double Auto from Game Fair and had really good luck. I believe the gentleman's name was John Allen and he was great to work with through the FFL to me. You are right they are not cheap but were honest. They have another Double Auto there right now that is really high, but very nice @ $1,100.

Brownie20, if you want to check them out go to www.gamefairltd.com . They have some really nice shotguns.

Dear Brownie

What are you looking for? East Side Gun Shop sells mostly defensive firearms for Armed Professionals and Citizens. We also have different types of ammo. We can order most guns for you, and our low overhead helps keep prices down. We also will transfer arms for you.

The folks at the shop are gun savvy, and not "gun shop commandos".

Call Grady at the Collection Connection. 890-8204. Small but keeps a lot of inventory, no frills, cash or check only, no plastic. He has primers and powder, open Mon, Wed and Fri. 2-6 and about anytime you want to call before you come by. This one is old school and he is one hell of a nice guy.
