I need some input from you folks who are more current on the subject of BT-99's than I am. I shoot an oldie, mid-1970's vintage and that's about where my knowledge stops.
A friend has a "newer" BT-99, mid-1980's vintage that he wants to sell. This is the model with the Broadway-type forend, not the original beavertail version. It has Invector choke tubes, standard stock and recoil pad (in other words, no adjustable comb, no recoil "system"). It's in an older Browning hard case, the imitation leather looking one. All is in very good condition, I'd say 97%+. What he wants to know is, what's this thing worth? I figure there are enough opinions on almost anything on this forum that there must be some on the value of a 20+ year old BT-99 that hasn't been shot much. I've looked at sales on Gunbroker and Auction Arms so I have some thoughts, but I figure a bunch of trapshooters might come up with a more accurate figure than a sale site.
