i wondered if any 1 has had the problem of the lock lever breaking lever popped up and gun would not open. the lever has a short threaded rod on it and something is rattleing in the gun now. is there a nut that has came off or what? shooting the best since i started last year shot a97 and won c class and was on first trapp 23rd shot when it broke and had only dropped 1.what luck
Bought mine in 2005 and not had any problems other than some trigger issues, but I feel that was not a factory/manufacturer issue. I am not sure of how many shells I shot thru it, guessing 10000 but it feels to me that it is just starting to get broke in.
If the gun is new and not just new to you, the repair may be covered under warranty. Check your warranty papers and if still under warranty, contact Beretta to find the recommended place for warranty repair.
thanks 4 the info i had my father-n-law take it apart last night and he fixed it. it was the little nut that came loose he loctited it and put it back 2gether 4 2days shoot i think he can fix about any thing i guess im just lucky on that.
When you get time, you should let BerettaUSA know about the problem you had and how it was corrected. I know they would appreciate knowing so they can address it with the factory. Direct your letter, email or telephone call to Rick Gump, product repair manager.
Manufacturers learn of weaknesses in product design or assembly by the repairs they perform, especially during the warranty period. No news is good news, so they need to hear the bad news so they can make improvements to their products.
