need to replace broken stock on my 3200 trap. Would like one that has already been on another gun. Prefer monte carlo but not that important. Also a question: do these stocks need much fitting after having been on another 3200? I bought a new one awhile back from E-Parts for 100.00 but it needed inletting and fitting and as it was my first try at both I didn't do too well. Anyway, if anyone has one without any cracks at a good price I'd be interested. Also, this is my backup doubles gun even though I haven't learned to shoot my main one worth a sh*t yet. LOL Please email with pix and price if you have anything. Thank you in advance. - Jeff--email is above.

A stock that has been on another 3200 may slip right on but needs to be epoxy bedded around the hole where the stock bolt goes in to prevent splitting of the stock. If you do it yourself you might want to use a gel type epoxy and make sure you put a release agent on the bolt and tang of the gun to prevent permanently attaching the stock. Pat Laib might have a stock and could do the bedding for you.

BillGrill: it was cracked on both sides of the grip and finally just broke in two pieces. I would'nt trust it to be fixed again. I've bought all my trap guns on ts.com and alot of other stuff too and thought someone would have a stock to sell. Probably a busy week for everyone anyway but I'll keep trying for awhile. Thanks and good to hear from you. -- Jeff

Shotgun47.....Before you install the new wood check the hammer spring guide rods on both hammers. When the guide rod breaks at the hammer end it spreads out and will split the stock. You won't even know you have a problem until the stock splits. I speak from first hand experience. Parts are available from Pat Laib.

Jere, my stock was cracked on both sides like you said but it came that way when I bought it about 3 yrs. ago on here. I patched it up as best I could and shot it off and on for awhile until the stock couldn't take anymore. I checked the guide rods as you pointed out and everything on the inside is great. Thanks for the 'heads up', I appreciate it.
