I have a PFS and carefully made measurements and transfered them to the PFS. I could have went out to my club and got the POI. However I tried this. I have the USA Traphooting add-on for Dryfire. I put 1 oz-1180 fps and inpact at 35 yards, with a 24 inch pattern. I selected a 50/50 and after patterning the gun in the Dryfire pattern board. shoot 25 rounds 5 per station. 19/25 looked at wher I hit and found that I was shooting low and behind I went back into the program and changed it to 60/40 shot another 25 rounds. 21/25. another adjustment 70/30. 25 more rounds and it is now 23/25.I then went to KSA and shoot three events. a 92 singles 84 handicap and then 93 the next day.
Total cost for the three events was $147.00.
When I shoot the same amount of targets with Dryfire USA Trap, the cost was nothing and I am shooting in a heated garage. I am shooting 400 a week. All winter long and the will start ATA in May 2009 I used the cost of shooting at my club @ $14.00 per hundred plus $20.00 for catridges. I shoud have the program paided for by May. I have two other shooters shooting with me and it is setup as a squad. If you can afford it get!

Bud,

http://www.patrapshooting.com/ You need some back slashes in your web addy for it to work.

Neil,

From the website: the system runs on your PC & with their equipment a dot is projected on the wall; meanwhile, you've got a laser in your shotgun rigged to your trigger.

Regards,
Jim

I've been telling everyone this for severial years. Unless you've got tons of money to blow down the barrel of your $15,000 trap gun, buy the DriFire computer system. In the Marine Corp we called shooting a rifle without any rounds "snapping in." Drifire has the same effect. It's shooting trap without any shells. Maybe, not exactlly the same. However, it gets your head into the game at very little cost. And that's mostly what Trap is all about, your own personal "HEAD GAME."

The photo's are up on my site. There are three shooters on my squad.Right now I am in B class, the other two are D, we expect to be able to move up at least one class. You can shoot singles, handicap, doubles and wooble trap. The nice thing about it, is you can be on a handicap squad and shoot from 16 to 27 yards. The program and computer takes care of it.
