How far do you want to disassemble it? You do not need to go any further than removing mainsprings and firing pins. If it needs a new locking block, get someone versed in that procedure to do it.
A couple cans of Brake Cleaner and compressed air will get the gun clean.
As far as the forend iron, get the right screwdriver set, remove the wood, and do the same thing. The barrel and ejectors can generally be cleaned the same way. I no longer remove them for annual service. If you have a HiViz front pipe, TAKE IT OUT.
I like Ballistol for lube. This is monster lube. Designed to keep German machine guns running, it is overkill for sporting arms, but that is not a bad thing. I typically spray the piece and blow it off with compressed air. The Ballistol will not blow off the metal, and I use a towel to wipe off the excess. It will NOT damage wood or finishes.
When you blow out the receiver, sometimes the trigger retaining pin is loose. I take a pair of Vice Grips and pinch an end of the pin and tap it is the receiver. (left hand side. Firing pin retainer pins go right to left, so should the trigger pin)
The Cynergy has FOUR pins that can be blown out. I do the same thing to them. They will come right out with a punch, but will not fall out when the stock is off, or be lost while blowing the receiver with compressed air.
I have learned to never "GUT" a gun unless I have A identical one to match for comparrison. ex. knowing which way a pin pushes out, also haveing the proper support, gigs, special tools helps big time. springs and easythings the rest is done by QT. Also Being pressed for time a few ours on a sat or sunday need no be wasted on gun overhaul. Drop it off and go shooting.
Follow the link below to the browning website and then click on the gun parts price list catalog. It doesn't give disassembly instructions, but you will find exploded views of most guns.
Thanks to obfd13 I was able to find at Browning's website what I needed for the present. I printed the exploded view of the XT as well as an older BT-99. Thanks for your help.
