I have a classic trap o/u and like it a lot it points just a little better then the xt for me and most of the guys that have picked it up really like its feel. I own an xt and shot it very well before moving on to more expensive guns. Time will tell but it seems like a winner, one thing the triggers are better for sure,I don't know if I would compare it straight across with the xt it cost more. I haven't seen a combo but their probably good. Ive seen coments about the trigger being as good as Ljutic's etc. I wouldn't go that far. But I think Browning as always has a good gun for the money. Go for it. Wayne
If I had the 3k 4k to spend, with out shooting them, the looks of the cynergy would lean me to buy it. My XT shoots well for me with out any mods, except I just purchased a used PFS for it. Again I think in the 4k or less for a new gun browning has some offerings. I have seen a lot of XT combos coming up for sale used? Maybe some thought there would be a huge demand for these guns. I think they are nice. Of course this is with out shooting them. I shot a cynery up in NH at a browning event they had. I liked how it felt and shot. As far as a trigger goes? Im not sure what Im looking for...if it goes bang then the trigger works. Maybe its a blessing I really do not notice good or bad triggers then I would be spending another 300++++ im sure on that upgrade.
With the product liability laws being what they are, do you think Browning is going to set the sears in a good target setting? No way! A good trigger smith could make them a lot better for each individual. I hope to have one of the combos soon. Hap
My Cynergy Sporter feels so good, I am trying to get my K-80 to feel the same! The Cynergy Unsingle Combo looks good to me. I may wind up with one if they are as delightful to shoot as my Sporter.
Well I shelled out the money on the Cynergy combo. Wow what a nice gun. I have mostly shot the un single and the sight picture is much different than my BT100. I need to float the target above the barell to smoke the target this will take some getting used to. As for the triggers they ar a mechanicial type not an inerta type. Yes they make the gun go bang very nicely. The combo is a complete package from the 5 chokes and the alum. case. My only negitive comment about it is the lack of instructions in the booklets on adjusting the point of impact. They talk about the comb but thats all they neglected to talk about the rib adjustment, this is something I would like to know as to how to make the correct adjustments. Al in All I like the gun and hope in the comming months I learn to shoot it better.
The wood is the typical Browning quality very reasonable. I bought the combo at Al's gun and reel in Dery NH. price $4250 for all flavors. I will put up some pictures tonight.
I e-mailed Ableammo a few weeks back before I bought my O/U and they were out of them also but I didn't ask if they could order one for me. I got one from my local dealer and it only took a week to get one from Browning. Ableammo had a good price on the O/U might be worth asking as it seems most dealers don't have them in stock or the one they seem to have is the sporting clay model. Wayne
