Just came back from a gunshow and wouldn't you know it, I added 2 more Super X model 1's to my collection. Now if I could just get a really nice wood set at a price I could afford. Maybe even work alot of weekends and let Ken Hurst work his magic on one. Oh how sweet that would be. Well lets get on the horn to Brownells and get me a few more bolt buffers.

If we get a DEM in office you will see gunshows go the same way they did when Bill Clinton was in office. In other words when Bill was in office only junk was at the shows and people kept the good stuff at home. When we got Bush in office then you saw the good stuff come back out.

Gunshow was in Kingsport, Tn. at Meadowview Convention Center. The show just recently changed sponsors to RK Gunshows. It was a pretty decent show, they added more space but unfortunately, it had books and leather bilfolds down the two new rows. the rest was guns and ammo. Should they let more vendors in with junk(computer, books, pottery, bilfolds, seasonings, kids toy guns, jewerly, etc.) I will not go back. RK had gunshows in Knoxville off of I-75 and I made two trips in one. Yep 1st and last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all they had was that junk and very few guns.

I was buying used guns for our upcoming youth trap season. I found a couple of SX1s and a nice matching stock and forearm set for a SX1. I took the SX1s to the trap range and for guns that are way to long for me, I dun killed a lot of rocks. They still are a rock breaking piece of equipment. Stock and forearm may be for sale later. I found that I did have a copy on the camera and downsized to fit on the screen. No drooling on this pretty wood.
