K-80 question

I have a k-80 trap special o/u that I have the bottom barrel shooting 7 inches high at 40 yds. The top barrel with this setup shoots about 10 inches high. What hanger do I need to get the barrels shooting to the same place? It came with a #5 barrel hanger, and I suspect I need one that raises the bottom barrel a little higher.

According to the Krieghoff web-site, each number change equals 2 to 2.5 inches at 30 yards. They also say that it changes only the bottom barrel P.O.I. ; which is physically impossible.

Those trap specials all seem to have #5 hangers, which is too much.

Try a #3, check impact point on both barrels. Should be closer. I have a #2 in mine and had to spread the barrels at the middle clamp to get them shooting to the same place.

Your O/U bbl has an adjustable rib...correct? If it does not, and the rib is soldered to the bbl, the top bbl is not going to move. I would also be surprised that a fixed rib top bbl shoots ten inches high...if the beads were figure eighted. (shooting a figure eight to determine were the gun shoots, not how you shoot it.)

ammo: No the bottom barrel is shooting where I want it at the present time, but I figured I need to get the bottom barrel shooting the same as the top and then adjust the rib to where i would like it so they both shoot about the same.

That's how you do it ammo, but when you get both barrels shooting the same, adjust your comb to shoot the desire POI, and then you go to the adjustable rib to stack the bids one on top of the other.
