Whiz,

If you wanted one out of the next run I do I could pull one out before I send them out for anodizing but right now the only ones I have are anodized.

With Cerakote the part needs to be sand blasted before spraying so you would be removing the anodizing during this process. On the other hand even if you were to get one that wasn't anodized it still needs to be blasted.

The good thing about these being anodized already is that you can blast and Cerakote this externally and still leave the hard coat anodizing internally to offer protection to the metal.

If you wanted one without anodizing on the next run I could knock $4 off, the same it costs me to have these anodized.

HSLDS, like this? I used an old SP1 upper receiver to built my Colt Model 605 clone.

If Rich 219 does not have SP1 style uppers, Nodak Spud makes clones of the Colt 604 upper, which is what you want. Click the link and scroll about 3.4 the way down the page. They are not cheap, though. It's a matter of economy. Vastly more A2 uppers are made now than these. These do work better than an old SP1 upper, as I had to JB Weld in an offset bushing in the front hole, and it sometimes breaks loose. (I may have to pin it.)

B in O,

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you...

Thanks - I have a soft spot for the SP-1's (have had a few in the barn) - was thinking if the price was right I'd pick up 4 or 6 from Rich to build out guns in the future.

I have a Colt Carbine with the factory Colt scope as well... 'great bit of kit.'

Cheaper Than Dirt was selling stripped out SP-1's about two years ago (all parts less the receiver) for around 6 bills. Thought of buying some then, but by the time I thought it through they were sold out.

Vis-a-vis the bushing/pin issue you can pick up a whole pin assembly that is manufactured off center to line everything up. Just have to get it all aligned, put it in (as I recall it threads together) and you are done. Pivot works fine, but full disassembly will require some tools.

Merry Christmas,

David

Rich you keep bumping this to the top = claiming you never advertised during this tradegy of young kids being killed

Despite calling trapshooters fat slobs that are weak on guns and making demeaning comments about law enforcement officers you continue to try to profit from this shooting and this site

You are a dealer and you havent even advertised here and have made many disparaging remarks about trapshooters

What gives?

Regards from Iowa

Gene,

You are nothing more than a troll. Go find something to do with what you call a life.

You are mentally ill and I urge anyone that knows this troll personally to please get him some help. He will be the next person we hear about on the news due to a mental health issue.

You are a clear example of exactly the type of shooter my remarks described. A gun grabbing troll.

Do you even shoot trap or are you just here to troll?

Rich,

Not to worry, his post is from the early hours of the day (late hours of the night?) - typically the time his meds are low.

He needs to re-dose (he'll do that when he wakes up in the AM) and he will be tolerable until that time when the blood levels once again drop.

Merry Christmas to all.

David
