Where are all the save the whale people when the whales actually need them?

Would love to have a 3 day flying white rat hunt annually here in Michigan. Any sea gull more than 5 miles inland from the sea (Here in Michigan that would be any great lake or connecting body of water would be fair game. No bag limit.

That's easy, Charlie.

Take a shotgun in one hand and an oar in the other. Walk towards the sea. Stop when someone asks you why you are carrying an oar. Toss out some crumpled McDonald's bags and load up.

The shooting will start soon.

Can we add Cormorants to the list too?

The Alka Seltzer thing works! Because birds cannot pass gas easily, either up or down, the Alka Seltzer causes a rapid build up of gas in their system. Since it has no easy way out, they sort of pop! They will take a tablet and fly off with it. Keep watching, because in a little bit, they kind of "poof up" and nose dive in like a fighter plane with a bad hit.

when we were young boys-in the spring during field work, the seagulls wud migrate through iowa and feed behind the implements-- my buddies and i wud shoot straight up @ them w/ .22 rifles-- we hit one and it spiraled down slowly and landed in the hog lot, the evidance was "gone" in minutes---its funny how we thot the game warden was watching that very spot!!!!!

If you shoot one seagull, when he goes down, it will attract a bunch more. The are curious to see what happened to their buddy, or what he went after. I saw it happen one time, abour 40 years ago. Charlie
