I need a recommendation for a trigger smith. I have a 1100 trigger that needs help. It has miles of take up and a hard pull when you get there. All help would be appreciated. JiM
Jim: There is a thread on www.Shotgunworld.com/I love my Remington about this
problem. Someone said that the new Remington triggers had much more creep than
earlier versions. There are a lot of gunsmiths that can lighten the trigger pull, and polish the sears. Pat Gottberg in Wells, Minnesota is a good one.
I had the trigger for my 1100 Classic Trap done by Phillip Crenwelge Gunsmith. He was recommended by others on this site and my trigger is now crisp. I have his card at home and can pass on his contact information If you would like, PM me.
