Trap season is just around the corner and did a renewal in Oct 2011 at Pow-Wow
Check not back yet. Anyone get renewal yet? I think it was late March last year also. If it was a previous thread I missed it. Sorry.
FWIW one of the Indian shoots I was at last year was the worst run shooting event I ever attended. Scores were never posted. Definatley not worth attending.
How well or poorly an Illini Indian shoot is conducted is strictly a function of the host club. If you had a bad experience, you should take it up with the club's management.
There is normally at least one Illini official in attendance at each Indian shoot. If for some reason there wasn't one where you had the bad experience, be sure to share the details with Chief Teschky or someone on the Illini board.
Sissy thanks for the reply and relating to the host clubs. I have been a member of the Ilini insians for many years and it is as you say the host club that makes the difference. Results of any ATA shoot eventially gets into Trap & Field. My original question was not meant to reflect on the volunteers who make the organization possible, only to make sure my 2012 membership was received.
All - this is Susan Hamlin(on my husband's account). I am the indian scribe. All the letters and membership cards will be out this next week, including those that joined in October. Sorry for the delay.
Tanda1 - I'm sorry if you didn't get a reply in July of last year that would have been my fault. If you will send me your name via email at hsmamlin@yahoo.com I will check my records to insure you receive the right information this year.
All - first Indian shoot is April 1st in Quincy. Also we were able to get gold plated indian coins to be mounted on the belt buckles for the Indian zone shoots. hope you all have a good time this year...happy shooting.
