I have loaded a ton of shot, 7 1/2s, 8s, and 8 1/2s. My next order is going to be all 8s. When I need to shoot from the fence, I shoot quality factory 7 1/2s.

This has been beaten to death on this Forum, Either from the 16 yd line (i like 1oz.of #8's), and many (but not all), use 71/2's as they migrate back to the 27 yard line for Handicaps. Personal preference......focus on the bird and hit them all!!
Who knows if a bag of, say, 7 1/2's is really that? I mean, maybe some of the shot could be bigger or smaller in varying percentages depending upon quality control? Maybe it really is a de facto bag of 7 3/4's.
Darn, since I don't have an Abel reel, like the beautiful one for sale on this site...
Why would the eastern zone be different that the western or northern, or southern zones? I have seen multiple people break 100's from the 27 with both 7.5's and 8's.
The Grand Handicap was won 2 years ago with a l l/8 oz. load of #8 shot, fired at 1145 fps. So if that works fine from the 27 yard line where this man shot from, #8 l/2 shot will work for all shooters from the 16 yard line and short handicap as well. Use #8 shot in the cold to a point, after that point I'm in the club house for the day so I don't need 7 l/2's. LOL. break em all Jeff
Your so transparent, you need far better bait and presentatio n than this post.
