I have a bag of Remington Power Piston wads. These are of the white plastic varity. If my memory is correct these wads were used for 1 1/8 oz loads in the ribbed, Remington and Peters cases. My question regards if these wads will fit any of the currently manufacted cases?
Thank you.

Remington uses them in several of their shells including Gun Clubs and turkey loads.

From Remington:<blockquote><I>"Remington Gun Club Target Loads are an excellent choice for economical shooting. Loaded with Gun Club Grade Shot, Premier® STS® Primers, and Power Piston® One-Piece Wads, these high-quality shells receive the same care in loading as our top-of-the-line..."</i></blockquote>

The older Power Pistons used numbers to tell what they were for. The later ones use letters but the order numbers are still the same. I use the SP12 for my 1-1/4 game loads in Remington cases.

29922=R12L=1oz

29924=R12H=1-1/8

29928=SP12=1-1/4

29926=RP12=1-1/4/1-3/8

I love the Rem SP-12 wads,just wonder why they are so expensive, I have often wondered why Down Range and Claybuster don't make an equlivant wad?

There is a definite need for this wad for reloading, It accomadates bulky powder.

Kevin at Downrange says we have the AA Yellow wad, yeah right almost identical to the the AA White OEM wad.

The original AA Yellow 1 1/4oz wads were about 1/8th inch shorter in base of the shot holder, and petals were longer.
