For Sale: used BT-99 Pigeon Grade in Excellent condition. I'm selling for the owner who will not be with us much longer. He is the 2nd owner and shot it for 5 seasons of trap league, and the original owner didn't shoot more than 1 case. Estimated rounds are less than 3000.

Comes with a release trigger installed (release trigger manufacturer is unknown), and comes with an additional trigger that was removed. (original parts)

Barrel has NOT been altered in any way, and is 34 inch with full choke.

LOP 14 5/8, stock is unaltered with the original pad, with 2 almost impossible to see handling marks.

$2200.00 or best offer shipped to your FFL

It has been said that these guns with the first letter of "R" in the serial number where high, to very high shooters as far as POI. Thus, the shooting the moon question. But without the monte carlo stock I would think that the gun would not shoot high. Nice gun though. Jon

RN would be just a high shooter, not the highest shooter, which would be the ones listed above. But as stated, you do not have the monte carlo stock. So that would bring the POI down some also. Nice gun.

Some guys like the "R" series, others hate them.
I shoot with some die-hard BT-99 shooters that will not own an "R" gun. I have shot a number of them and cannot figure out what the big deal is. It does shoot a little bit higher for me, but not much. I would guess that it is more about how you shoulder the gun than anything else.
