What ever happened with the FL delegate losing it at the Grand. It has been pretty quiet about it. I asked around at the Grand and no one seemed to want to talk about it. If he really did what he did I can't believe he got away with no punishment.

We have heard first hand from the accused and as expected the "FACTS" were incorrect and blown all out of proportion, perhaps by someone with an "AXE TO GRIND". I have known the accused for some time and know him to be a person of integrity, fair play, and having respect for others. It is my opinion that the charges were reported incorrectly and with malice. In the repeated telling the responders to this forum "SNOWBALLED" the accusations until we should all "HANG THE BASTARD". Shameful at best.

I will not respond to any questions about this post, so please do not ask. Marc

I also know Ken, and it was started by one of "The good ole boys" with an axe to grind. Just as LUVTRAPGUNS said, it got blown way out of proportion by a bunch of wieners with the same type of lynch mob mentality that is starting here again.

You haven't heard anymore about it because there was nothing there to start with.

Turns out when the OP said he "thought" the delegate's name was... that he had a "history" with Ken in the state they both once lived in and apparently knew full well who Ken was.

Also, apparently the girl and her supervisor both told two VPs from the ATA that what was claimed by the OP didn't happen or didn't happen as claimed by the OP. No crying, no yelling.

Now I am not saying the OP fudged about what he claimed to have seen. I suppose he could have misunderstood. I just hate it when people jump on the wagon to start a lynch party based on an allegation by someone especially when the poster has few posts here so has no "track record" to measure what is said.

Funny, but it always seems that when someone makes an allegation a number of posters jump on the wagon. "Send someone by the guy's house to collect!" Or, "It'll get whitewashed by the ATA!" Or, "I'd call ATF or the FBI or the Postal Inspector!"

Then, when the other side starts to come out, and it looks like maybe the OP fudged a bit, the sound of silence is deafening.

At this time, I want to make sure you understand I am not talking about Rod's complaint. He has been at most of the shoots I have attended and I have purchased from him and his wife several times.

However, look at a few of the suggestions on how he should recoup the funds he was cheated out of.

I like this site.

But, I have to say I know a number of shooters who won't visit here anymore because they have seen this type of conduct. I try to tell them it's only a few and rare, but I've never been successful in convincing any to start looking (many never posted) again.

grntitan & trapshootin hippie,

"We have heard first hand from the accused" I don't remember that.

You were not part of a private conversation. You can now put your lynch mentality and ropes back into storage. Wishing you the best. Sure would be nice if you could find happiness that was not at another's expense. Marc

Wow Marc you are so paranoid. I just simply stated "i don't remember that". Fact is you said "We have heard first hand from the accused", and thats not true. YOU may have heard from the accused but not WE. At least i don't remember it anyhow.

Bob--Thanks for the scoop.

Bill--Not every thread, just the ones that are easy. :)
