I am selling a set of 390 diamond wood that is just stunning. It has a G-Squared recoil system that was installed this past April. It includes the air pump and the recoil tube stud conversion. The wood was completetly refinished at the same time. The lop is 15 1/8" and it can be shortened with a thinner pad. Current pad is a Kick Eez sporting pad. The comb can be raised quite a bit and with it in the lowest position it has measurements of DAC 1 1/2" DAH 2 1/2". System has fired less than 1000 rounds. I will sell it for just the price of the G-Squared installation. 1150.00
Hey, How longs the barrel on gun? flat rib or step? any barrel mods? Sure wished I could sell my benelli Sport 2. I'd snap it up in a hurry. Sold my 390 sporting and have never found another one. Love the Super X's but still love the 390 enough to find another. Thanks,Keith
Several questions have been asked about the stock diminsions. The comb can be raised quite a bit but the measurements i listed were with the comb all the way down in it's lowest position. The pad on the gun is a full 1" thick Kick -Eez and it also has a 1/2" spacer that can be removed. This could be shortened to have a lop of 14" pretty easily or something in between 14" and 15 1/8". More spacers could be added as well for the long armed guys.
you know I'm very tempted, Brad. Big question in my mind is why the recoil reducer on such a soft shooting gun? Bill Wheeler [I would buy the wood without the hardware.]
If you think a 390 is soft without a G-squared you should shoot one with it. Close to 410-28 ga type felt recoil. This set can not be used seperate. It would not be for sale except i can not get it low enough to fit me.
This is a hell of a deal. I have 2 G'Sq conversions and they are one of the best recoil reduction systems on the market. If you disregard the wood and just have a field grade stock converted to this system using the wood from the stock for the comb the cost would be greater than $1150. Call Michael Gregory and get the pricing. www.shockmaster.com. If this this was a parallel comb stock I would have bought it at the initial price. The bottom line, the wise person that buys this stock is getting the wood free.
