Well the Knob Creek Challenge between Tom Rhoads and myself has ended and again Tom has kicked my butt and is the winner of two bottles of bourbon. This year to show my gratitude I am letting all the shooters who will be in attendance at the Cardinal Classic know that Tom would like to celebrate his victory over me by offering you a taste of his winnings. If you get a chance, look up Tom and let him know that you would like to share in his good shooting efforts over me this year.
Tom, I hope lots of folks look you up and share in your winnings so you don't have to take all that alcohol back with you the the hoosier state.
Methinks you may be giving up too soon. He only has you by a bird in average and he still has to get through a couple shoots in Indiana and then the Cardinal. If he gets all left angles from station #1, you'll be surprised how quickly his average will change!
On the other hand, if he does win all that bourbon, the mirrors in his hotel room are at great risk!
What is this I hear< KNOB CREEK Free Samples at the Cardinal Classic. Be sure to lookup Tom Rhoads. He sometimes hangs out with his good buddy SMSnyder around the bleachers at Shootoff time.
i may havwe to come to the classis just to get some free bourbon from tom. 30 dollars in gas seems like a cheap price to pay to get into toms pocket.maybe see you there. robin
Pardon my skepticism, but I've heard this "own" left angle talk many times before.
There may not be as much bourbon flowing from Tom's winnings as Roger expects. He will owe me a bottle as a result of our "Makers Challenge" in which I "own" him, and he may owe Ray a bottle as they are neck-and-neck in their Challenge currently.
Regardless, I am more than happy to share my winnings, so stop by for a nip or two. Tom has a limit, however, otherwise golf carts and motel mirrors are at risk!
