Most of these people are in a completely different world. They see things in a light similar to unwashed teenagers who don't see the whole picture, and have stupid attitudes.

Our town has recently loaded up on ebonics talking, late night, non working useless individuals. Just in the last few years. Reason? A "Battered Women's"
shelter that brings the females flocking from the big city, eager for the free ride. Lots of good charities giving stuff away.

And manure draws flies. Lots of landlords getting out, can't stand having places continually trashed. Moving day is easy to spot; all or most of the household furniture is piled on the curb for the DPW to deal with.

New home, new assistance programs for furniture, etc. And the cycle continues.

If I was unfettered I would be moving but where the hell can you go?

I have a couple properties for sale at less than appraisal values if anyone is interested.

People can compare anything to anything for the sake of defending something or someone ... People with common sense and logic will know the difference and not accept the reasoning of those defending someone or something and sort it out in their own mind as pure unadulterated BS ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Hey Superposed...

You talking about the genious, Stephon Marbury??? What did you expect, he wanted to relocate back to the 'hood very early in his career... Actually, unless I misread the quote, he stated that dog fighting should be considered a sport.... Another Mensa-like quote....

He must be a vegetarian... I am guessing Bessy the Hereford didn't just lay down and die at the slaughter plant....

Boys, it's not just Michael Vick supporters who make that comparison. Here are quotations from Wayne Pacelle, the head of The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). The animal rightists see no difference between hunting, animal agriculture, animal experimentation or cock and dog fighting. All you hunters need to be informed about these people because they are coming for all of you next ----- one sport at a time. Don't fool yourself, denial and complacency are a dangerous combination.

In the words of Wayne Pacelle: > > "We are going to use the ballot box and the democratic process to stop all hunting in the United States... We will take it species by species until all hunting is stopped in California. Then we will take it state by state." Wayne Pacelle, (Full Cry magazine, October 1990) > > "Our goal is to get sport hunting in the same category as cock fighting and dog fighting." Wayne Pacelle, (Quoted in Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Oct.8, 1991) > > "If we could shut down all sport hunting in a moment, we would." Wayne Pacelle, (As quoted by the Associated Press in Impassioned Agitator, December 30, 1991.) > > From the HSUS 2005 Policy statement, Hunting -- > "As a matter of principle, The HSUS opposes the hunting of any living creature > for fun, trophy, or sport..."

I think the above quote posted by Carl Kelly is indeed the aim of many people in the so-called "animal righs" community.

Where they err though--in my opinion--is in taking too large a bite by including "animal argriculture" in the agenda.

I think it will be quite a while before a majority of people are willing to give up meat in their diets to further a half baked agenda that requires enforced veganism on the country as a whole....

Nothing from the animal rights activists about banning the breeding of pit bulls. This animal is bred and trained to fight and kill and serves almost no other useful purpose.

Horses are also bred for running but when they break down are destroyed and sometimes eaten.

Does anyone actually believe animal rights kooks will be happy until all consumptive use of animals is forbidden!!
