I would like to make a request of all posters that post information about their club shoots include exact and complete information about where the shoot/club is. There are many clubs with the same name as well the county and state.

Ithaca$$$Grade you're correct and they can have many website. From what I have observed and Dave P is referring to. If they don't bother to post the Web URL for the website it is just as useful as not posting the club location.

It is my impression that many clubs in the South do not have a web site. Out state organization does have a web site that identified all registered shoots in the state and provides a contact person for each club.

It is often difficult to find a gun club and something like the hours of operation can be nearly impossible to discover unless you find the club or locate a club shooter. In my small town, very few people know what trap shooting is and that there is a fine club located 4 miles out of town. That is a major problem for the growth of our sport.

I think it would be wonderful to have a web site but we don't shoot registered and don't other tournaments. The way it's going at the two clubs I belong to we would only have pictures of the club's grounds as the seasons change or the funeral procession of one of our that had died. For this reason a few of us like to go to other clubs periodicly but I don't want to search for a half hour to figure out where your club is when you could very simply type your city and state. I can tell from that if I want to check further

I am President of a small club in Melba Idaho. We do not do registered, only shoot games. We do however have a fairly large membership ( 77 ) Doing a web site these days is pretty easy and cheap. I started one a year ago and it jumped our membership from 22 to 77 overnight. On our web site it is easy to find shooting hrs, directions, board members names and all kinds of info. It takes me very little time to keep it up to date. I would encourage all clubs to appoint someone to be their webmaster. It is very easy to do and will be the bigggest shot in the arm you will ever make to your club. It will also bring in a lot of youth and new shooters. DaveP - your right on. Many times a club post's a shoot and I have no idea where it is or what state it is even
