It's the opposite of a Pull trigger instead of pulling it to make it go off , A person would pull it first and hold it then when you want it to fire then just let go of the trigger if you have ever seen any bow shooters then a lot of them uses a release trigger also and a double release just means you got to do it twice to be able to shoot it 2 times.
If you think about pulling back a bow and holding it then you know what happens when you let go of the string so this is sort of an example of what im trying to say.
Double release triggers are wonderful things. I did not flinch once as I lost the Southern Zone doubles championship.
