I need your help. A few months ago I bought a gun on TS.com and thought it was a late model bt99. I was recently trying to look up some parts and started looking at the serial number. According to Brownings web site it should be a bt100. I determined this by the number 171 at the end of the serial number. My confusion comes from the barrel the serial numbers match on the receiver, the barrel and the forend iron, but on the side of the barrel it says "bt99 special". Has anyone heard of this. Bob
