Sorry for the mix up in the dates , I had included our travel time as well...

As mentioned , still a rookie at traveling to these shoots..

I would like to know if there will be dealers set up selling trap related items at this shoot..

I am in the market for an unsingle barrel for my CG magnus...

Thanks in advance,

Robert ( Newfoundlander )

Yes, there will be gun dealers and vendors of all types. There is a vendor row outside the main building. Also, in past events, CG has set up a tent down by the practice traps, so find out where they are. When you get there, ask for the practice area. You can drive yourself over or take one of the small busses.

enjoy PA

Hi Shawn,

I had a great time at the Eastern Zone and met a couple nice people Vern & Brenda ( Brownst100 )

I was like a kid on Christmas morning with the Shooting Related stuff that was available..

They told me that many vendors were not there this year , but I had a great time in any event..

At the shooting I retained my adverage with three 91's in singles , 78/79 in HC and a couple 87's in doubles..

I don't take things too serious as you know , but a good time was had by all..

Hope you do well at the Grand , wish I were there..

Newfoundlander, I thought the only doubles practice you had on the island was with Screech. You did quite well, hope we treated you well in the States. :)

Newfie Screech doubles are good but straight is better...

Yea had a great time in PA , was my first time shooting in the US of A.

Found the food great and couldn't get over the price that you guys has to pay for things..

Here a 12 pack of beer costs near $24 bucks , while a 28 pack there was around $21 bucks..

25 lb. bag of Shot there was around $35 bucks while $60. bucks here...

High grade Ammo there was $55. bucks a flat counting in a $20. buck rebate..

Here same flat costs $84. with the rebate factored in..

Picked up fly fishing supplies and shooting apparel at Cabelas for half the cost that it is here in Newfie..

Had an exceptional time there , looking forward to Cicero next year...

Oh yes , glad that I didn't buy that Beretta combo I was looking at , Caesar is doing the job just fine for me...

Hi Bob

Brenda and I really enjoyed sitting on the patio, with you and the gang, and solving all the worlds problems.

The pleasure was ours. Tell the gang we said Hello.

Yea Vern I learned a lot from you in our chat meeting and look forward to meeting again next year..

I wish I had more time to be able to check out the Area a little more..

A fellow trapshooter here asked me upon my return if I were near Gettisburg...

How far were we from Gettisburg?

Again many thanks for everything..

PS: my buddy was very thankful for the cigars..

From Elysburg to Gettysburg would take about 3 hours, give or take a little. From our house it takes about an hour and a little more. We did check out the website you told us about. It was awesome.
