I am a white, gun toting, Christian, conservative. I believe we should have the right to protect ourselves and family from anyone who wants to harm us in any way. I believe in Pro-Life, not abortion rights. I believe all men and women were/are created equal. I believe in our Constitution and Bill of Rights and I will defend them to the end. I stand and salute our flag and thank every soldier for keeping us safe. I love our Country!

I was disappointed that my vote did not make a difference this time. I am happy for those whose vote did make a difference. I will set aside all petty differences and support "our" President. I didn't blame President Bush when our industry (auto) went into the tank, but I did blame the policies that allowed this to happen, whomever is responsible. I will support President Obama and I will support our Country. I will be a positive influence on those I meet and help rebuild our economy and Country. I will not let any government infringe upon my rights as a US citizen. I will always support the NRA with whatever I can afford. I will defend our rights! I love our Country!

I ask each of you to join me and set aside our petty differences. We have one President and he needs our help and "influence".

I was proud to be an American yesterday as I was each day before. I am still proud to be an American today and I will be again each day until I meet my maker. God Bless America!

I felt yesterday morning as many of you do today, but I'm tired of being mad and upset, I can't change how the election ended. What I can change is my attitude and in doing so maybe help change others so we can begin to heal and move forward. It is very unfortunate that many have not learned to forgive and forget. Make no mistake, I will not be on the side that trys to limit our rights, especially gun rights. I will fight with all that I have. I like to shoot and hunt and I will never infringe on anyone unless they try that with me. It is time to move on and turn our economy around. The best way I know is with a positive outlook. Forget about revenge it won't put food on your table, but hard work and a positive attitude will.

Thanks Steve, WOW........such attitude and hatred is NOT healthy. I (and many of YOU) should PRINT this out to see what happens in the next 4 years.I'm 58 and my concerns are (1) the market.(2) dealing with immigrants. I voted Republican , but can surley live with THIS. I second the motion of SUPPORTING OUR NEW PRESIDENT.Time will tell.......TIME will tell ALL. Please enlighten me...I've lived from before JFK thru the BUSHES....and still have my guns and taxes are about the same (I'm not a millionare)...There must be some wealthy people here that can't stand a little change.As a business man , I vote Republicen....as an AMERICAN..I support whoever gets electd...PERIOD. Some people just need to MOVE to CANADA or CHINA and SEE what is BETTER.

The american flag has been set on fire, used for asswipe, worn by useless pimps, and generally been desecrated in every possible way.

I still love, respect, and honor the Flag.

The Office of the Presidency of the United states is about to undergo the same treatment.

I will still respect and honor the office. The actions of the man in it will be subject to every scrutiny and analysis I can use, and for the good of the office, I will object to any actions I see as wrong for the American people.

I will object amongst my friends, to my elected representatives, to my family as long as they will listen, and at the gun club when needed.

And in 2 years I will campaign vigorously to get the Congress back to America lovers instead of America haters.

I train Citizens to get their Handgun Permit. I am one of the very few Civilian Patrol Rifle Instructors in Tennessee. I promote and train young athletes into shooting sports, and when they get older, train them to defend themselves and others.

I am so far to the right, if I get in a rowboat, it goes in a clockwise circle.

I get something in my eyes when I hear the National Anthem. I would take a life or give mine to preserve the life of a child.

If asked, I would again bear arms for my country. However, I am not as fast as I was 40 years ago. LOL

I will not support Obama, his political allies, or his fawning supporters. Politics comes with a cost, and I will not compromise my beliefs just to "get along" with people, especially those who would take our precious republic down the path to socialism/collectivism.

I wish the man no ill will, and support any efforts to keep him safe from harm. However, I will not join those who think that we all need to "pull together" for the so-called "common good". "Common good" is an oxymoron. It does not exist. What is good for one isn't necessarily good for another, or others. People have a right to live their lives for their own good, and not have that interfered with by others.

Your rights end, when they impose on, or threaten me.

If Obama fails, he will do it on his own; on his own two feet.

Americans were sold down the river by McCain, Obama, and both national political parties; and they are selling their freedom for a few dollars.

Like Shooting Coach, I'm a liberal's worst nightmare. I believe the U.S. Constitution means what it says, and it's not subject to some ethereal meaning that socialists/collectivists believe.

No actually JFK was the first president I voted for. I also proudly stood in the Honor Guard at his funeral. I can remember the day of his death fully today.

This is still my country and that dumb ass is not my president. He has divided it not I.
