Thinking about buying a BT99 but concerned about trigger pull. Does anyone know about the weight of pull for one of the newer models? My trap gun is 4lbs and I do not want one more than that. Thanks

I have a BT99 that I think was made in 2009. A 10-pull average with a Lyman digital gauge shows it to be 5 lb. 9 oz.

I don't know if that's how they all are, but that's what mine is, & it's too heavy. Dave

Weigh the trigger pull on the gun. That is the only way to know for sure. HMB

It can be made better as most triggers can.
