A FYI. The covers always get lost on these scales. I have a perfect conditoin "10-10" scale and I do not know where I put my cover. Oldremfan's unit has a cover and that makes it valuable. Adn I can tell you guys that this particular scale is super easy to use. Her eare the pics of how the parts assemble in the case. Oldremfan, when you get done putting the parts in their proper places, then put some balled up tissues in and around the parts to keep them from rattling around. small pieces of bubble wrap will work too. But this is how Ohaus ships the unit.

First, screw down the weight

Then adjust the beam so that it can be inserted into the slot and rest on the base

Then hang the watchimacallit

Assembled

Not bad for a svede, eh?
