I have a box of .25 Stevens short rim fire shell ...are they worth anything...is there a place I could sell them? Thanks.

I'll give you $5.00 plus shipping, but I think I would be taking advantage of you. There are still some .25 Stevens Favorite rifles around. However, I think most are just wall hangers, stuffed away in closets or have been sleeved for another caliber. A friend of mine has one that he got when he bought a group of 3 guns from another guy. You might want to look on gunbroker.com to see what a box is going for.

They're worth something to cartridge collectors.

Pity the box is crushed at one end. Still, it's worth something. See if there is a cartridge collecting club in your area. Often times they have small swap meets.

I have a few examples in my cartridge collection. I'm trying to collect at least one example of each metallic cartridge, which is no small undertaking.

They would probably be worth about a buck a round as shooters. The box condition won't get many collectors interested.

Had 50 of 25 Stevens, no box, all shells matching, Sold them while at a gun show for $50. They are worth something to the right person.

I have been collecting old ammunition for more then 40 years, these are some examples. Have rimfire cartridges from 58 caliber on down with several paper patched shells.

nice collection you've got there Toolmaker 251.

i just started collecting cartridges a while back. i have just a little over a hundred in my collection. it is still a loooong way to go....
