Anybody having any luck contacting Giacomos? A week and a half of emails unanswered, they had been writing back same day. Phone call gets message to call back later or busy signal. Just curious.

I called to get update on repair. Was told that they are back logged do to the shoots they were at and the work coming in.

I found if I called between 10:30AM AND 2:00PM that I got through.

Back in Feb. and March, Dan and his crew were working 7 days a week so given that it's only him and a couple other guys working and the amount of work/orders they get in, it may take a while to get a reply back...it's worth the wait

Just got a new to me TM-1 that needs to have the receiver re-blued. I'd like for them to go through the receiver as well. Tried calling several times and all I got was a busy signal.

I always heard that Giacamo was the only one to send a P gun too, but it sounds like very long wait to get a gun back.

Anybody else work on P guns (reblue and internals) as good as Giacamo without the wait?

I would plate a TM1 before blueing it only wears off again from carrying a good coating will last 10 times longer. Giacamo is retired it should say Dannys it is not the same anymore.

Did Dan call you or Tammy? I been working with them a while and it seems Tammy is the front door person and that might be fine when dropping something off but Dan should still follow up and I have not seen that in the last year. Your front door person should know about your business, and not just be a pitbull.

Dan does awesome work but the customer experience is starting to tarnish. Change is about change and it's all about how you incorporate it.

I don't get it, they were very responsive and then nothing. Couldn't even leave a message on their phone. I'm sure the work is excellent and the price is reasonable but I am well past the date the gun was supposed to be finished. I don't need my hand held, but would like to know what is going on.

You guys are experiencing a change in market conditions. Guys that have not been shooting are a tad more flush and intending on shooting more this year. So they are having the experts go over their equipment in preparation. Giacomo is busy, Braker is busy, Crenwelge is busy. All 3 do excellent work.

Sent an MX-8 in early Spring for type upgrade. Talked to Tammy the first of April and Daniela about a week ago and both relayed the status of the work and the fact that since Flordia that Dan,Doug and everyone at Giacomo's are working overtime to catch up. Yes sometimes it takes several calls to get through but all of the work on my Perazzis has been exactly what I expect.

Just got my TM-! back

Sent it in on 3-29-12 got it back 5-7-12 just over 5 weeks. Not bad for going through the gun and fitting extra barrel I bought form them. I understand that one of the crew was not working due to health lately. We should all understand what this can do to the flow of orders.

I sent a trigger group from my MX-8 last year to have a broken hammer replaced and a general tune up at the same time. It only took slightly over 2 months for me to get it back from the time I sent it to them.

Work was excellent and Tammy in the office was very helpful.

Talked to Dan yesterday as I am anxiously waiting for my gun too. Turns out they are worse than swamped. Tammy, their secretary has been out on medical leave and will be for months. Which means Dan can't answer phone and work on guns at the same time! Daniela comes in later in the morning to take care of the phone/paperwork etc. Plus, he's got to get ready to do shoots. it'll be worth the wait to have my gun done right.
