Hi guys, I,m new to all of this, I, live in Scotland and on retirement, thought...I want to build a working cannon,and as I was a retired carpenter, I decided you make everything from oak...including the barrel...but...in order to allow it to be used as a blank firer, I had a steel tube inserted in the oak barrel, which incidently measures 130cm long x 20cm at the rear and tapering to 15cm at the muzzle, the steel insert measure is 75mm outside dia, and 41.5mm inside the blank shell came from a Firework manufacturer,
