Word going around is that Zumbo has his coyote hunt "ruined" by nearby prairiedog hunters who were using AR15's, and in a fit of anger he lashed out at semi-auto owners as the latent anti-gun tendancies came out.
Ted Nugent says Zumbo is a great guy, and we are all to forget anything he said. Ted says he is a new man and will be writing about 2nd amendment rights from now on. Ted's even giving him free training courses with "black" rifles and then SWAT magazine is having him write stories for them about what he learns. Nugent has written to all of Zumbo's sponsors and told them they should give him back their sponsorship. He'll end up better off than before he started.
Yeah, but the sponsors won't when they get a boycott backlash. Nugent is a loose cannon and is doing more at this point to divide gunowners than Zumbo did. He's rallying the Fudds around him, and is empowering them with their belief that the Second Amendment is only about hunting, and that the "opposition" are target shooters (including shotgun sports).

If so, he really screwed the pooch, because the shot up prairiedogs would attract coyotes like a magnet, after the varminters left. That's how it's here for jackrabbit and sage rat varminting. Shoot'em up, then back off and go into deep cover, and wait for the coyotes to show up for Sage Rat McNuggets.
