I suggest that the next time you are at the trap range you look through some colored lenses and see which color works best for you. What works for me won't necessarily work for you. HMB

Ok, now this is really getting interesting. I'm looking at interchangeable lenses, but I don't like inserts or clip-on due to the weight. I have Oakley for my everyday glasses, but am not sold on their RX models. Looking at the above sights, it looks like most are inserts. Anybody using a single frame with different color lenses? If so, what colors do you use and why?

Hal

PD is the distance between the pupils of your eyes. That distance does not change. What can be different is where they put the optical center of the lens. This should be determined when you have the gun mounted, inorder to see what part of the lens lines up with the pupil of your eye. Usually the optical center, of shooting glasses used for trap, is placed 3mm above the center of the lens. HMB

How import is PD on your perscription, I was told by one person who makes perscription shooting glasses that the PD on shooting glasses is different than the one you would have on your every day glasses. Is this true?

Does anyone know of a company making RX shooting glasses with interchangeable lenses? I usually use my regular RX sunglasses, but on cloudy days find it harder to see the bird with dark lenses.

Thanks! Hal Hitchcock
