Skeet do a little research, he was raised in west Texas, used to be a lot of Dems there they traced it back to the Republicans being the opposition in the Civil War, more of a southern thing

His Dad was a Dem for a while, a lot of young sons think the Dad is always right, after he found out how screwed up your party is he switched

Rick Perry is no Ronald Reagan nor is he another George Bush. The elite of the Republican party don't like him. Karl Rove despises him. That, if nothing else, gets him my vote. The Dems are scared to death of him. Jimmy Borum

In 1988 Al Gore at least didn't act like the green liberal kook he is now, he was Gov of Tn, remember Tipper's attack on rock music? Not sticking up for Algore in any way just saying he acted like a different person back then.

If you have to scrape back that far to find something you don't like about Perry you're going to have a hard time finding any candidate that suits you. We have to pick someone to beat Obama that will get the country going in the right direction.
