In this case I would say the book is showing less than reality.

My estimate would be from a thousand to 1800, condition and wood depending.

If there are any 98% sets with case and papers out there for 995 I want one.

HM, I recently bought a 28GA in excellent condition for $350.00. I know I got a really good deal but I got a 390ST in the same deal and paid a total of $700.00 for the pair. Individual made the price, I bought them. I would be willing to give $1200.00 for the pair though if I were in the market. Jackie B.

Mike has it right. $1300 if or near perfect. $1000 if shot but cared for.

Over 5000 sets were made adn comparable guns are still being cranked out. NOt collector items. Shooters that need the exercise. Fun guns and real skeet shooters are shooting true competition guns. Not these. Our bud HM has been to the Brown County rail too much of late

I had the pleasure of shooting with a trucker named Vern(forgot the last name) at the Zone a while back. He shot all 4 1100's.

Dumbass missed 3 birds that weekend. only made 3 of the 4 shootoffs. AAA shooter, BTW.

That said, with the cost of small guage shells, I wouldn't shoot small autos in registered. The costly empties hitting the ground would give me palpitations.

A .410 1100 is the closest to absolutely no recoil you can get. Smokes 'em, too.

The matched set with the case was $500 when it came out. I thought they didn't come out until around 1973.
