Winchester 209 once fired primers for sale. $50.00 for a 5 gallon bucket full, plus shipping. Don't think we need haz-mat for these. Don't wait too long, ya snooze, ya looze. Plenty available.

I might be interested. You pry the insert out of the cup and carefully pound out the dimple. Take a "strike anywhere" match and cut off the very small, little tip of the match head. Put this in the cup and super-glue it all together. With about 10 minutes of work (each) you have a primer that may work 25% of the time.

We may all be shooting black powder, flint-lock shotguns in another year. Is there a shortage of flint's yet?
