The Election was based on race from day one all the way to the end ... Colin Powell backed Obama because of race and not qualifications thats for sure ... Colin Powell took credit for Stormin Normans strategic's in the Middle east and they in turn made him look like he was the man which he wasn't and never will be ... The new name of the White house is "The Crib" and wait until we catch a look at the newest edition of Air Force One ... WPT, you are exactly right it was based on race from day 1. What really gets me is how the "White" people are always accused of being racists. I think this presidential contest really proves who the racists are in our society. To use a football term "the best offense is a good defense". I guess if we are called racists, then we have to defend ourselves as to why we are not. Bulge

It is not just race. The entire Northeast went for Obama. Many of those states are overwhelmingly white. Same thing in the Midwest like Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin. The Northwest, like Oregon and Washington. Then look at Texas where whites are the minority. It is true that hispanics and blacks cast the vast majority of their votes for liberal Democrats. But it is more regional than anything. There are some regions of the country that don't share the traditional values of America. They want to remake America in the mold of a European Socialist country.
