I was in the kitchen making some Posole (Mexican soup) when I heard Jim Scoutten announce a story on the Grand American. I rushed in to the living room to see the Sighting In show on the Outdoor Channel. Dish says it's episode #43, original air date is today (11-05-2008)... I love that about Dish - it tells you if it's a rerun.
I had heard that Jim and his crew left after getting a "not so friendly" receiption. I guess that report was a bit inflated and perhaps outright erroneous, because this was a very good story with lots of positive comments about our sport. He did a good job and had interviews with a couple of the shooters. Lots of shots showing squads shooting 16 yd and doubles.
Check it out if you can catch it.
The episode will also be repeated at 11:30 PM CST
