Reagan passed it on, but no doubt this generation failed miserably.

For someone to be elected to the highest office in the free world who has disrespected America as he has done so commonly, is beyond my civil comprehension.

This election puts things into perspective. All the soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and the defense of our country now appear to be in vain by electing such an anti-American politician.

The promise that something is FREE. That is the operative word, FREE. That is what a lot of these sheep think is going to happen. No cost, No sacrifice, No more problems. FREE health care? FREE money? FREE loans?

Everything is going to be just fine NOW. obama promised us it would.

Kinda like the guy trying to get a small child to take a ride with him. The guy doesn't look suspicious. In fact he even looks bright, and healthy, and CLEAN.

Anyway, this guy doesn't pull up to a child and say, "HEY YOU, GET IN THE CAR".

It's always something like, "Hi how you doing? Listen, if you get in my car and take a ride with me, I will give you something you have wanted really, really, REALLY bad for a long time. I promise, I will give you whatever you want. Yes really, I promise."

I never thought people old enough to vote would get in the car.

How's those sour grapes taste guys? Sounds to me like you didn't do what you should have done for your man and he got beat by a better politition. That's our system you know? If he had a campaign manager that would have insisted that he make speeches like the one he gave for his concession he would have in my mind won the race. I believe his campaign manager cost him the election. Along with his financial advisors who never had a plan for the economy put together for him to detail out to the voters. So I think the republican style of negative campaigning should be carefully looked at in the next elections. Dan

I hope Dehaub is still around in a few years. Remember the misery index of the Carter years. A combination of the unemployment rate, interest rates and the rate of inflation. Let's see what happens to those figures as socialism is put in place. Don't go anywhere Dehaub. It will be fun smashing those sour grapes in your mouth.

If McCain had any cajones or brains he wouldn't have needed an election manager. The very fact that he needed a "manager" to steer his course proves that he was an empty vessel who stood for nothing. If he had been worthy of election he would have had a message worth hearing and he would have had a plan of his own and he would have been out there proclaiming his message loud and clear, persuading and convincing Americans to his side and his ideology. He had no message, whereas Obama did, or at least Obama put on a good pretense of having a message.
