It is on the western edge of the eastern time zone so it stays light longer. I don't know what you can do with that info - except maybe go on Jeopardy..

If you are there over a Sunday and want to shoot trap, the Tri-County Sportman's Club is only about 10 minutes south on State Street. Nice people.

There are several interesting things in Ann Arbor area. There are many good places to eat in A2. Zingerman's Deli is nationally famous for its wide selection and great customer services. My business partner's son has a brew pub called Jolly Pumpkin on Main Street. The have good food and he brews some of the best Belgian style beer in the US.

Cabela's has a store about 30 minutes south on US 23. It is worth the trip.

Just east on I-96 at the Willow Run Airport is the Yankee Air Museum. A little further east in Dearborn is the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. It is a mini Smithsonian, with some stuff you won't find anywhere else.

AA is a great place to just walk around downtown, people watch and bar hop. It's very clean, a bit of a mess to drive around (one way streets can drive you nuts) and EXTREMELY liberal, so be prepared to get an eye full from time to time.

It's a cool place.

Do you guys know what the area offers in the way of good food or things that a guy can do will he waits there a few days ?
