And here all this time ... I thought it was Arab bread!
My 4 YO son on a bad day. Sorry, I couldn't help it!!
We currently have about 4500 members in Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
Any state in the U.S. is welcome to join our association simply by forming a state association and hosting a PITA state shoot.
We also have a cross-registration agreement with the ATA. Any state or province that has both a PITA and a ATA association can offer this option at their shoots so Michigan is not out of your reach if you can round up some people to form a state association and hold a state shoot!
Come to Evergreen Gun Club in beautiful Western Washington July 24-30, 2011 and join us for the 80th annual Grand Pacific!
Please visit our website: www.shootpita.com for more information.
Heap, what are the shooters carrying on their backs in that first picture?
Thanks guys. I live in Michigan so thats out of my reach. Thanks for the responses. Jason
We have two Washington State Shoots a year, both are good shoots held at locations about 350 miles apart and about 80% of the same people attend both. Spokane ATA - Evergreen PITA
Canada,Alaska,Nevada,California,Arizona,Idaho,Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington have clubs that throw PITA targets. At one time I believe West Virgina had a couple of clubs.
I shoot both. The rules are about the same.

I thought is was People Eating Tasty Animals!!! Oh Sorry, thats PETA. Nevermind. Break-em all. Jeff
I always thought it was Pain In The A$$
see link above
It's the Pacific International Trapshooting Association.
Clubs that throw PITA targets are predominately in the Pacific Northwest, although Hawaii and Colorado also have PITA shoots.
At some, if not most, PITA shoots you can cross register your targets to the ATA for a small additional fee. Likewise, at ATA shoots in the regions where PITA operates, you can cross register your ATA targets to the PITA.
Anyone know just how many members PITA has?
Pacific Amateur Trap Association. Kind of a West Coast thing. Not very active here in my part of California, but more so up in Oregon and Washington.
I see PITA on this website a lot and I was just wondering what it is. Is it another trap association like the ata? Tanks Jason
