Before football season started, Braxton Miller was an early frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy. Then he got hurt. Now at full strength, Braxton is unstoppable. Since then, many other names have surfaced. If a player gets injured or has a bad game,it appears he is out of contention. Carlos Hyde missed several games also. He is averaging 8 + yards per carry. These 2 athletes are tops or near tops but won't be under consideration because they did not play the entire season. Yes I'm an OSU fan. For the last 70 years.

It's easy to put up big numbers with Ohio State's schedule and playing in the weaker than ever Big 10. Their strength of schedule is embarrassing.

I don't think the near loss to Michigan helped either!

Schedules are made up 5-10 years in advance. All major programs play 2 or 3 warm up games at the start of every year. Strength of conferences will run in cycles. Yes the big 10 is down this year. You are obligated to play your schedule regardless of strength. Any one with mediocre football knowledge knew OSU VS MI would be a close game. This was the SUPER BOWL for Michigan. So if OSU jumped out of the big 10,they could get more respect! Connor Shaw, who?

Well after all ohio, just how many div II schools should you play in a year. Oh and should coach meyer show his tough nature by allowing a young man to play in the nxt game after the double one finger salute in front of the entire nation on tv. Yep ohio football once again the cream of the crap. The head coach has no ethics or morals, niether do some of his players.
