Helping my friend sell more of his guns: This is a heavy barrel 6MM 700 bdl Remington. Wears a 6 x 18 Leupold scope! As usual, pics are very sparce and limited to serious inquiries! In case anyone interested in this gun doesn't know this (if it isn't already sold), Remington no longer chambers any production rifles in 6mm REM. Yes, their website shows the 700VLS is available in 6mm when you search by caliber but when you check the specifications for that model, 6mm isn't listed.
The 6mm REM is a great cartridge that never recovered from its original 1-12" rifling twist when it was called .244 REM. With its 1-9" twist, it is a "better .243 WIN" and rifles factory-chambered in 6mm are rapidly escalating in price.
