Their is a reason Walmart can sell cheaper. They buy from the manufacture at a certain amount but they have the mfg.co cut cost on the product some where to achieve what walmart is satiisfied with to sell retail. In shells it may be lower grade of shot, cheaper wad or what ever. Thats the way it works. I learned this thru a retail dealer on tires. So I began checking and found that Walmart pays R&D on many of their products they carry to get the cost below others and they have exclusive rights of the sale. So there is a reason why they can sell cheaper. Wild Bill
AA's are AA's and STS are STS no matter where you buy them from as far as I know Walmart has greater buying power = cheaper prices....
I'm wavIng the BS flag Wild Bill. The AA's you get at Wal Mart are no different than the ones you buy at Gamaliels or from anywhere else at that matter. That's silly to suggest Winchester would put subpar components in AA's intended for sale at Wal Mart. Statements like yours are exactly how silly unfounded rumors start.
I'll probably buy some from 2-3 different places. The folks at Gamaliel are top notch, have done many transactions in the past and I always like to support a family owned business. $7 won't cost me much sleep! :) shoot well everyone. Jake

I have Rem STS (Nitros) that I bought last year at the Grand (from the shell house) that have the Grand logo on them.

The shells I have from the shell house didn't have any markings on them other than the manufactures. AA"s and STS's. From the NRA yes.

Bought 5 flats of AA's at $74 a flat and 5 flats of Federal Prems. at $70 per flat today at Walmart.

Did they have Grand stamps? They also put GA in the item number of Remington shells. Easy to spot them.
