Know that lots of folks shoot the 6-series Beretta O/U in ATA trap.

Know that Leo Harrison shoots the Beretta DT-10.

But just how popular is the DT-10 in ATA trap ?

And if it is not highly popular, what are some of the reasons ?

Will the new DT-11 be more popular ?

.

Yeah, I thought the DT-10 would catch on better than it seems to have. Not sure why. I shot a round with one and loved it.

But remember -- few things in shooting are nicer than a good, reliable gun you love that happens to be unpopular. As goes demand, so goes the price :)

Just make sure you intend to keep it for a while.

PS: Are you sure Leo still shoots the DT-10?

I hunted and searched all over to find a nice new or used DT-10 but for some reason they don't seem to retain their value ... I looked at several and for another $1,000.00 I opted for a Perazzi MX-2000 combo ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

When I attended Leo's clinic in Arizona in February 2012, he was still shooting the DT-10 but was expecting to get a new gun sometime this year.

Yes L is still shooting his 10.

Devi and I have been shooting combos for a couple years. They are a great value on the used market. Won't say what I gave for either of ours as I may want to market them here someday.lol

I think price had alot to do with reasoning behind useage.

I handled the DT 11 at the SCTP Championships last month in Sparta. I must admit I like it a lot. The guy from Beretta said the combo is not out yet but the high rib O/U I shouldered(middle gun) felt really nice.

Sorry for the crummy cell phone pics

bkt514,

I have had many dealings with Cole's. All of them positive! If you have the $$$, they have the time and will do it right!

Matt
