Did not know what category to put this thread in, hope this is the correct one. I am thinking of putting my trap gun up for sale. If i do it will be the first time on this site. I would like to know the normal process. I would like the transaction to be good for both parties.
1100, I have sold a few guns on this site and others. Start your thread with pictures, if you don't post pictures everyone will stroke you about that. Make sure you list the price, and give as good and thorough a description as you can. Once you get a buyer let them send your payment and a copy of their FFL holder and send the gun there. Be sure to get a phone number and have a conversation with the buyer just to get a feel and see that you both are confortable.
Above is a link to the BATF ez check site. There you can type in the FFL number to check and see if it is current.
You should find that most on here are very honest and easy to deal with. There are a lot of good people on this site. Mike.
And to keep the forum police from scorching you, make sure you put it in the "for sale" section.
