"White Flyer Targets is pleased to announce that we have lowered our Pitch target prices by $0.40 per case. The new pricing was the result of a decrease in our pitch costs and we are passing these savings onto our customers. Please note that this decrease was for Pitch targets ONLY- Biodegradable targets were not affected. White Flyer hopes that this decrease will help the gun clubs as well as shooting sports. Additionally, our Webb City Target Plant is back to the original Pitch and is shipping these now."

Would appreciate it if you would please give me a call today @ my office - 713-626-1843. If there was a problem as you state, I would really appreciate your explaining all the issues with me plus getting me some box number codes of those targets. If you had a problem, I want to know about it, so we can determine what went wrong; why. I wish you would have contacted us sooner. Whom did you purchase from and when ?? Where they pitch or bio targets ?? All Orange or Orange Dome. How were they transported to your club ?? Your distributor name ??
I look forward to your response ASAP - if there is an issue, we will attempt to rectify ASAP.
Incidentally, targets for this year's Grand will come from our Knox, Indiana target plant as they have the past three years.

I have also had problems with the targets, also. Inadequate lead application to flying clays has caused me a great deal of anguish and embarrassment. What can I expect WF to do to correct this unacceptable situation?

Anyone who has met Phil or any of the White Flyer reps for that matter, know them to be fair and "class act" certainly is an appropriate portrayal of their character.
They are known to do everything within their power to resolve legitimate issues with their targets. Of course they have had many complaints which finally turned out to be caused by the trap machine or rough handling.
I always wondered how their targets held up so well when they were being transported from traphouse to traphouse and used as a seat for the loaders during evening at the old Grand Americans during the loading process.
Thank you White Flyer for working to reduce the cost of targets to the clubs.
I'll make my annual visit during the Grand.

40 cents a case..........63 cases to a pallet.......20 pallets to the truckload(or more, depending)..sounds like about 500 bucks to me.

I have met Phil Murray on a number of occasions and had the opportunity to work with him our Wounded Warrior Skeet Clinic.
All of you are correct. Phil Murray and White Flyer are a first class act and an invaluable asset to the clay target shooting sports.

During my time on the BOD at my club we tried two other manufacturers targets. The guy that trained me on Pat traps stated point blank, he would not mechanic the traps if we threw other other than WF. The targets throw true and are clean! plus our breakage was under 2% on over 750,000 thrown. Including dumd asses dropping cases of the back of a 4 wheeler. I have been hired to work on Pats at other clubs that throw other than WF, I couldn't get their loss below 2% a turret! (540 targets) I remember the pain when the price went "through the roof" when the pitch plant went down, If I recall correctly this is the second price reduction sense the plant was rebuilt. What hurt all of the clubs more than anything was freight. Not only the fuel costs, but I learned quickly to have loads deleivered on soft side trucks. We had targets delivered on flat beds and the load was "tarpped" I found boot prints on the tops of the cases. Those two issues were WAY more painfull than WF raising prices. Well done WF.

What was pricing on a 135 count of targets in 2009, 2010, 2011, and now in 2012? Any idea?
We have seen dramatic increase out here, maybe its just our region.
We had 2 tractor trailer loads that were sent back because they were improperly stacked on the skids. Once thet neglected to attach the boxes to the skids with shrink wrap and many boxes fell off the skids.
The 3rd shipment was OK and we are working through them now.
Straight near as I can remember they were pretty static. The only thing that rose was frieght. Frieght over doubled. I remember in 07 08 it was like $800.00 last load I bought it was $1700.00 In 08 we started buying targets from sources closer to Oregon. The frieght was a lot less but all the pissin and moanin? it just wasn't worth it. I certainly don't mean to disrpect an target manufactures. One in particular helped many clubs in times of trouble including ours I'm told. I took a LOT of heat changing to WF exclusively. For sporting targets the club could throw targets from a manufacture right up the road. His targets are very good. But the ecomony being what it has been along with this particular club adding so many other venues, It was just a logistic problem.
