Of the few lakes that are at the WSRC, which one offers the best on shore fishing? Also, do you need an Illinois Fishing Licence?

I posted this picture last year when someone asked about fishing around the WSRC. This gal can give you some pointers. She is Ms Sparta.

Since you all hijacked my thread. I can tell you that the pictures on this thread are the Trap Setters for the Grand American that starts next week. I was told by an ATA Official that as runnerup in the Lewis shoot off, you can spend 1 hr. in a trap house with your choice (in 100 degree weather).

blade, I would be happy to take you with me. I generally go around 5:30am n fish till around 8.I like the big lake myself, s/w part should you not want to join me.

A state lic. is required which can be purchased on the grounds. I usually opt for a 10 day out of state. One day can be purchased though.

The only women I have seen built like that are not from Illinois, they are actually from Missouri. ( however, they are not from the Linn Creek area, either) LOL

Blade 819 I'm with you. The only reason I get up that early is if I have to Pee. Then I go back to bed. Or hunting sometimes.

The scorers are good looking at Sparta. I never could figure out what carnival the ones from Missouri (Linn Creek) came from.

Anyone remember that redhead who used to ramrod some of the west banks at Vandalia? Watchin' her was worth the trip.
