It's time to prepare for flights, car rental, lodgings, and registrations to attend the 2013 P.I.T.A. HAWAII STATE SHOOT....Feb. 15th - 18th at the Big Island Trap Club @ Hilo.......
Please note that the shoot is on President's Day weekend and car rentals and lodgings are at a premium so book early.
I'm trying my best to get there and will help anyone on mainland with info and contacts to get you organized...it makes a great vacation if you go for 2 weeks and shoot either at first or last week and 1 week for sight seeing as the Big Island has a lot to offer with black sand beaches, volcanoes, history, Parker Ranch, waterfalls, fishing, surfing, snorkeling, helicopter sight seeing, State Parks, and just that quiet evening walk at a glorious sunset...yes it rains in Feb. but is a warm rain and being ex military, I don't melt in the rain...LOL

Is there a place to send guns if you elect to not take them on the plane?
In the past I have shipped my gun via FedEx to Garrett Zane's Sporting Goods store in Hilo. Believe Garrett is still Hawaii PITA President but give him a call first to confirm receiving the gun. Bill H.

Going by previous years there have been 53-57 shooters registered so if you really hurry you can still get in but remember that the shoot is on the Presidents Day weekend and hotels and flights and rent a car are at a premium...

Safely arrived 2 days ago and sweated a lot as it was 83 degrees and I'm fat so you can do the math.....
If your not on your way here then you lose as we shoot tomorrow.......
I will try to get the results each day but if you don't see them here it's because I'm too busy having fun....
