Today turned out to be great weather for shooting ,temps in the low 80's and lots of sun ,we were a little lighter on the normal for shooters today some of our regulars were at Mason for the State shoot bu still a good turnout with 8 protections before lunch and the Calcutta deadline at 12:00pm and for lunch was fresh potato soup with summer sausage ,cucs and sour cream rolls and lots of desserts which was pretty good on a hot day of shooting something light and filling Thank You again all the volunteers for making this happen yet again without you these shoots would not be so great as they always are ,now lets see some pics .

As you can see lots of shooters with full squads having a good time shooting at FRGC all enjoying this sport we all love and it dont hurt to beable to beat your buddy in some friendly competion once in awhile either .
We have shooters of all ages shooting at Fennville like old geezer Perry Moore with his Grandson Gage Kenyon by the way Gage and his partner shot a 50 straight in the friday night shoot and beat Grandpa by 2 birds way to go Gage ,now lets see the first calcutta board

Today we had 22 teams in the calcutta with first place being taken out right with a 49 by Kevin Brouard and Bob Richmond great shooting guys in second 2 teams tied at 48 and Greg Harris and Doc winning the shootoff in 3rd 1 team at 47 W.C. and Larry in 4th 2 teams at 46 and Harry L. and Al taking the shootoff and 5th 3 teams tied at 45 and Rick Schanz and George Coffee winning the shootoff ,all in all another great shoot put on by Fennville Rod & Gun Club Thank You from all us shooters in the WMCC for all your hard work, now a few more pics before i end this ...
And here we have Bre Leeuw with that dont make me comeover there and drag you to this line stare ,(btw she would do it too) A big Thank You goes out to Bre and Joey Kiss for doing such a great job for us you know us trapshooter were never on time to the line ,well some of us
And here we have Gary Metheny (see gary i do know how to spell it )on the far right in the pic shooting his brand new Fabarms XLR trap gun which he wanted me to point out he beat Randy Hook with in the calcutta the very first time he shot it in a calcutta and who is Randy Hook you say ??
This is Randy Hook sitting with all his friends replaying in his mind how he got beat by Gary ...
And here we owe Thanks to Rick Schanz (pictured) and Trevor Bouma & Brian Lester for doing a great job with the auction ..
And a heads up to anyone who might be thinking of stopping by FRGC and joining the fun be careful you might end up like Zeek here so full from a great meal and relaxing stress free atmosphere you may nod off for a bit ..

Ok ill end this for now and hopefully i can add the second board later and remember next week is Bloomingdale Conservation Club turn in the WMCC Thank You FRGC for another Great Shoot !!

Doug, If i remember right- we graduated from the same high school on the same day! That much of my old geezer brain still works. The WMCC shooters are making Gage feel like he is one of the "boys".That 50 straight was awesome Fiday nite. Perry"old Geezer" Moore

Doug, great job and thanks from the club.
But, I'm with Perry about the old geezer comment. Perry's younger than me and quite a bit younger than Mick so guess we're in the dinosaur category - haha!
