Looking for lead BB and lead #3 shot. I will not buy Remington shot. I am looking for Lawrence brand, Winchester brand, Westcoast brand and Hornady brand. I will buy copper and nickel plated shot as well. Larget amounts are fine but small amounts are fine as well. E-mail me what you have and I will make you an offer. Thanks guys.
Why not Remington?
Because it is far to soft. Remington BB's do about 34 pellets at 50 yards. Winchester BB and lawrennce Magnum do between 50 and 53. That is huge when you start with 75 pellets.
This is with all the loads being buffered and using exactly 75 pellets. Jeff
I felt the same way about Winchester #6 turkey loads vs Federal. The Federals were good for an easy extra ten yards. The Federals used hard shot, while the Winchesters were copper plated hard shot. Recovered shot showed many of the Winchesters were being cubed after going through a super full turkey choke.
